One of our earliest painting projects was the bathroom. I couldn’t stand the bright blue walls, and while I don’t have a picture, the tiny pedestal sink. Maybe we just have more stuff than the average person but I couldn’t figure out how to live without bathroom drawers!

So we purchased this mirrored wall storage unit and matching vanity from IKEA. Both items have been perfect for us and the space. Neither item was easy to assemble and hang/install... but we’ve moved on from that... maybe.
Helpful Hints: IKEA plumbing will definitely not match up with your 107 year old house, and by that I mean, hire help! We don't mess with plumbing around here, and the family friend who lended a hand to install our vanity was very worried that it might start leaking. Our pipes are original (or at least - very old), and the connection between new and old was not very easy. I would consider IKEA again for bathroom supplies, but the counter on this vanity gets dirty very easy and doesn't seem to ever feel clean. I do like the soft closing drawers.
